The Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) has published the 2023 version of its World Giving Index. It's key findings include:

The global World Giving Index score is 39, just one point lower than the high recorded in 2021. The results indicate that the increase in global giving seen during the pandemic has been broadly maintained.
72% of the world’s population supported others, amounting to 4.2 billion people
Indonesia is the world’s most generous country for the sixth year in a row
Ukraine is this year’s highest climber, gaining 13 points since 2022
